Down Payment Assistance - Arkansas

ADFA's down payment assistance program provides Arkansans an opportunity to become proud home owners by overcoming a major obstacle in the process. Qualified applicants can get from $1,000 to $15,000 to cover down payment and closing costs, with cash back option available for expenses paid outside of closing.

Requirements:

• Must be a first-time home buyer
• Household income must fall within county or state medians
• Must occupy purchased home as primary residence within 60 days from closing
• Complete a HUD-approved home buyer education counseling course
• For single-family home, townhouse, or FHA-approved condominiums
