What's a Conversion?
Simply put, a conversion essentially changes the nature of the interest bearing transaction from a rent on money transaction (Riba) to a rent on property (Ijara) transaction.
We do this by placing your home in a trust, restructuring your mortgage from a lease on money (which is haram) to a lease on property (a halal) transaction.
With the conversion, we don't change the economics of your loan. Economically, you will be paying the same but the structure of the transaction will be different.
