These handy home tips work with islamic home loans

Although they’re a big step in the right direction, islamic home loans are only the foundation or building block for successful homeownership. You’ll soon find after you’ve bought your first house that islamic mortgage loans are only a percentage of the money that you’ll need to fork over every month. That said, here’s a few handy tips on saving a few dollars in those critical early homeownership years.

  • Plunge first.  It’s a good idea to take the least expensive route first when you have a home problem like a clogged drain. There are lots of different chemicals on the market that offer to get the job done quickly and easily but the expert plumbers usually say they just leave a hole in your pipes. A good old-fashioned plunger is the first line of defense against any kind of clog. If that doesn’t work you can take the trap under the sink apart and use a snake. Both are a little more work but a lot cheaper than having to replace parts of your plumbing.
  • Drilling Tile. Trying to drill tile can be expensive if you keep cracking them but making a little divot first with a hammer and a drywall screw will fix that problem quickly.

Islamic home loans and some handy homeowner tips can make a difference and get you started off on the right foot when it comes to those early homeownership years.
