Here’s a few things you dont want to do when house hunting with islamic home loans

For some Muslims who are interested in getting some real estate to call their own,  islamic home loans are the easy part in that that understand these will keep them Sharia compliant and free from riba. Once they’ve secured one of the islamic mortgage loans products that we have to offer, they feel comfortable with the rest of the home buying process since we present, in addition to other features, explanations of all your options like Murabaha.

Of course there’s more to finding the right house than just the Sharia compliant side of the equation. House hunting is critical and there’s a few things you need to consider to make sure things go well.

  • Take your time.  It’s good to be sure your day planner is free when you’re looking at homes. Having to rush from one home to another because you’re on a fixed schedule can mean you’ll miss something along that way that’s important.
  • Dress for success.  Flip flop shoes are the best to wear because you want to be respectful and take off your footwear at the door of the places you go to see.

Finally there’s no need to be shy. With  islamic home loans you’ve got the finances out of the way so looking in drawers and closets should not embarrass you as you go through a house.
